I must say I was pleased with the good start I got off to for NaNo this weekend. I started writing at 12:15 a.m. on November 1 and had about 1400 words done before tumbling into bed. Sunday I had an obligation that took me away from my writing, but I managed another few hundred words that evening.
As of yesterday when I typed this up, I'm right on track, word wise. I checked out the NaNo site from school but they don't appear to have the word count widgets working yet. If they're not up and running by the time I have my internet fixed I'll have to find some other little progress bar to post.
It's driving me crazy that not only can't I post from home, I can't even check how everyone else is doing from home. My internet's on the fritz and won't be fixed until Friday. To keep my blogs updated I'm typing up the posts from home, saving them to a USB key, and then uploading them at school. I'd better try and get well ahead of my word counts so my NaNo doesn't suffer once my internet is fixed. :-)
